The check of more than 30 pieces of luggage, distributed into 8 tickets, to minimize the Aufzahlungskosten was a real challenge. This has the Business Class counter the KLM has taken a little over an hour. The flight to Amsterdam was unspectacular, shortly before midnight onward towards Quito. Despite business-class ticket in Amsterdam there was more chaos, we needed checking for almost three quarters of an hour. As they unload our boxes but no longer wanted, but then they have taken all.
But then there was pure luxury. A multi-course dinner a la carte breakfast as well, a seat of the right to a bed to sleep if you will. As can thus sustain a long-haul flight already. I woke up again in any case only to land in the West Indies. Unfortunately, I've seen nothing, well it was still pitch dark, and nobody was allowed to get off.

After refueling, we continued to shine in Guayaquil Ecuador, the first daylight was slowly one way or another Caribbean island through the clouds, but then it got exciting. The flight over the Andes, some were not dressed in white clouds, was quite breathtaking. Shortly before landing in Guayaquil one flies over a mountain range, which is certainly above the 5000 mark.
After a last stop at last terminal in Quito. Again bordered by high mountains over 5000 meters. The city itself is at least 2800 m above sea level. So far I can take the height quite well.
Anyway, I have come to the right country, most people here are not only incredibly friendly, they are even LESS than I do. A completely new experience, sometimes stand as a great man in a group.
Well, tomorrow it's really going on with work, I hope, though still a little to get from the environment.
